Mega Miles Update – Air Miles Partners (March 19 – April 16, 2020)

[UPDATE: the Mega Miles promo has been postponed] I see the Air Miles Mega Miles promotion website has now been updated with the participating partners. There are still no details about the individual offers. It also states that no paper coupon booklets will be available at retailers this year. Daily Getaways Sale Returns April 27, 2020 (Preview April 20)

[UPDATE: this sale has been postponed] Every year the U.S. Travel Association holds a big sale of various loyalty point packages, hotel stays, theme park tickets etc. There are usually some great bargains available and Canadian residents are eligible to make purchases. I see on the Daily Getaways website they’ve announced the next sale will begin April 27, 2020 with a preview to be released on April 20th. [Read more…]

Returning Soon – Air Miles Mega Miles Promotion (March 19 – April 16, 2020)

They are a great way to build your Air Miles balance and put you closer to Onyx status. Last year Shop The Block suffered a devaluation, however Mega Miles looks to be unchanged with a 1000 mile bonus for shopping at 5 different Air Miles partners. [Read more…]

Choice Privileges Promo Returns – Stay Twice, Get 8,000 Points (March 7 – April 26, 2020)

I was a wee bit concerned that this old standby from Choice Privileges would not be back, as that has been a trend among hotel loyalty programs lately. However, it has returned and it’s the same promotion we’ve seen many times in the past. After two qualifying stays, you get 8000 points, which is enough for a free night at some Choice hotels. Wyndham Rewards Promo – Stay Twice, Earn a “Free Night” (Feb. 21 – May 21, 2020)

Wyndham Rewards is out with a new promotion. After two qualifying stays, you get a 5500 point top-up, giving you at least 7500 points, as each stay earns at least 1000 points anyway. Because Wyndham reward rates range from 7500 to 30,000, you’ll technically have enough points for a free night. Unfortunately, hotels in the 7500 point category are few and far between, and many that exist are not too enticing. [Read more…]

Collecting Air Miles In 2020 – Start With The Sobeys Gift Card Promo

A new year has begun so your Air Miles counter has reset to 0. Getting to Gold status is pretty easy at 1000 miles but reaching Onyx means accumulating 6000 miles in the calendar year. As 2019’s Shop The Block promo was reduced from a 2000 maximum bonus down to 1200, it might take a bit more effort to reach your goal in 2020.
