A Simple Points and Miles Approach (Air Miles and PC Optimum)

There are many keen collectors of points and miles in the Maritimes. However, I suspect lots more people are either casual collectors or pay no attention whatsoever to loyalty programs. Learning how to effectively earn and redeem points is a chore and may not seem like it’s worth the effort. So, I thought I’d attempt to lay out a strategy that might help someone become more active in the points and miles world. Disneyland on Points (Aeroplan, Air Miles, TD Rewards, RBC Avion)

When it was announced that Disneyland and Walt Disney World would be opening a new “land” all about Star Wars, I knew that my brother and I would likely take a trip to see it. Our parents took us to Walt Disney World in Orlando many times during our childhood and my brother was a big fan of the Star Wars movies. The goal then was to accumulate the right points and miles to make an eventual trip as inexpensive as possible. Returning Soon – Air Miles Mega Miles Promotion (March 19 – April 16, 2020)

[UPDATE: the Mega Miles promo has been postponed] Mega Miles and Shop The Block are the two major Air Miles promotions that happen once a year. They are a great way to build your Air Miles balance and put you closer to Onyx status.
