Air Miles Bonus Boom Promotion (February 4-17, 2021)

Another Bonus Boom from Air Miles is here. You’ll get 95 bonus miles for completing 3 offers. While it’s not the mother of all Air Miles promotions, it’s definitely worth a look if you’ll be shopping at any Air Miles partners over the next couple of weeks.

Visit the Bonus Boom website to see all of the offers for your province.

Promo Details

Check the FAQ page for all the info, but here’s a quick summary:

  • use 3 different offers, get 95 bonus miles
  • they don’t have to be at three different partners
  • several offers require you to opt in online
  • promo runs February 4-17, 2021
  • some offers have specific dates within that window

These Bonus Boom promotions are set up to resemble a major annual event like Mega Miles or Shop The Block, but there is an important distinction – you can use more than one offer at the same partner and it will still count toward the completion bonus.

However, with a bonus of only 95 miles, it’s not really worth going out of your way to complete this promo. Still, you should certainly go over all the offers to see how many can be of use to you. And be sure to read the offer terms carefully.

Offer Highlights

The Sobeys and Foodland offers include a number of product specific options that might coincide with one or two of your targeted loadable offers.

Here in Nova Scotia, there are several offers to get a bonus for redeeming 95 Cash miles including at Sobeys, Foodland, Lawtons Drugs, Pharmasave and Irving.

The Staples offer of 20x the miles is good if you have a purchase of over $100 coming up. It’s available in-store or online so you can double dip with the Spend $80, get 40 bonus miles airmilesshops.ca offer. Just note that the Staples offer only runs February 10-16.

The BMO offer for Air Miles credit card holders might coincide with a targeted email bonus offer for spending a certain amount in a single transaction at one of several specified Air Miles partners. (If you have such an email, be sure to check the applicable dates – I’m aware of one that ends February 8.)

There are a few really easy offers like signing up for Air Miles emails, signing up for surveys or making a first purchase through airmilesshops.ca. But you might want to hold off as those one-time offers could be needed for a bigger promo like Mega Miles or Shop The Block.

Bottom Line

Most Air Miles collectors should be able to nab a few extra miles from this promotion or save on a few Cash mile redemptions. If there is another Air Miles member in your household, and more than three offers you can use, see if you can get the bonus for both of you.

Many of us are also waiting for our Shop The Block bonus to post to our accounts which should happen later this month. As with any of these Air Miles promos, make sure to save your receipts in case you need to chase down any missing bonus miles later.
