In next week’s flyers there are some good Air Miles bonus offers at Sobeys, Foodland and Lawtons. If you shop at any of these stores and collect points and miles you should definitely take a look.
Many avid Air Miles collectors have likely been wondering if or when a Sobeys/Foodland Blue Friday promo would come along. Well, not yet. This is a “Max-A-Miles” promotion which I don’t believe we’ve seen before? These bonus offers are in effect for the duration of the flyer.
Sobeys
According to the Sobeys flyer the bonus offers amount to over 1000 Air Miles and are all product specific. Consequently, how many miles you earn will depend on your grocery list. The highest bonus is 50 miles and there are a few of those available. And be sure to check your loadable offers before heading to the store.The Sobeys flyer runs Thursday, July 2 to Thursday July 8, 2020.
Foodland
A lot of the same items appear in the Foodland flyer as in Sobeys but there are usually at least a couple of different ones. The Foodland flyer runs Thursday, July 2 to Thursday July 8, 2020. Again, check your loadable offers as well.
Lawtons
If you regularly shop at Lawtons, you will want to take advantage of the headliner Air Miles bonus – Buy $100 in Lawtons gift cards, get 50 bonus miles. Limit of 2 per collector. Although I understand a Lawtons gift card doesn’t have the flexibility of a Sobeys gift card (which can be used at Lawtons, Shell, Needs etc.) and won’t give you 5x the points on your Scotiabank Gold Amex or Amex Cobalt, it’s still a great offer. The Lawtons flyer runs Friday, July 3 to Friday, July 9, 2020.
Bottom Line
It’s always nice to see some good bonus offers in the flyers. A straightforward Lawtons gift card promotion is an easy way to add some extra miles to your balance. And, as terrific as some of the Blue Friday specials have been, I like that these Sobeys and Foodland Max-A-Miles offers aren’t limited to one day only. Has this replaced Blue Friday? I guess we’ll see.
