Rodd Hotels & Resorts sent out an email today about a special $85 rate to celebrate their 85th anniversary here in the Maritimes. For anyone contemplating a getaway within the Atlantic Bubble, you might want to take a look. I’ve never stayed at a Rodd hotel myself but some of them look very appealing.
85th Anniversary Sale
At the moment, the promotional rate of $85 per night is at available at four of their properties:
Rodd Crowbush Golf & Beach Resort, Morell PEI
Rodd Royalty, Charlottetown PEI
Rodd Miramichi River, Miramichi NB
Rodd Moncton, Moncton NB
Apparently those hotels are the only Rodd properties currently set to welcome guests this summer but that could change according to the information on the promo webpage:
Rodd Brudenell River Resort, Rodd Charlottetown and Rodd Grand Yarmouth re-opening dates are to be determined and will be based on demand for travel and use of the facilities.

Note in the terms that it’s a “from” rate, as they put it, and applies only to standard rooms. The promo rate will be higher for other room types.
Availability
I took a few moments to check availability of the $85 rate at the four hotels. Conveniently, they have a calendar display so you can see your options quite easily. The rates shown below were available as of the time I did my search so they could obviously change by the time you’re seeing this. Also, I only looked at the months of July and August but according to the promo terms, the rate is good for travel until October 2020 for resorts and until December 31, 2020 for hotels.

The $85 rates are pretty scarce in July and August although there is excellent availability in September:

Bottom Line
If you’re headed to Prince Edward Island or New Brunswick, this Rodd Hotels & Resorts 85th anniversary sale looks like a good one to put into the mix when planning where you’d like to stay.
